Small, healthy habits can form the foundation for a bigger, brighter future
COMMUNITY. ACCOUNTABILITY. HOPE
These are the three core beliefs that Hilltop House has been built on.
Community. We can’t do it alone. We need connection. Honesty. Vulnerability. We need a willingness to show people who we really are and what’s really going on behind the fake exterior we put out to the world. Connecting to other sober addicts. Asking for help. Being seen. Being a part of. These are thresholds we must cross in order to find true, lasting recovery.
Accountability. Allowing someone to hold us to certain standards and expectations is not easy. We pride ourselves on being engaged with every individual who stays with us. No one gets lost here. We are only ten people plus two managers when we are full. And we pay attention to each person, every, single day.
Hope. We believe in you. We don’t trust alcoholism. We don’t trust addiction. But we believe that you have it in you to do the challenging, inconvenient work that must be done in order to truly change. We don’t want you to ever have to go back to treatment. Or a sober living. We want this to be your last stop before you find a functional, useful, grateful sober life.
